Ronald McDonald came to Ruapotaka school. He told us about keeping safe when we are crossing the road. He said, “stop look and listen before you cross the road.” He did a play about his missing sock and told us to keep safe when we are crossing the road or passing a sneaky driveway. Ronald McDonald sings two songs, ‘make it click’ and ‘stop look and listen before you cross the road’.

Ronald McDonald found his sock.

This is a quality blog comment because I have started with a greeting and then I included the author’s name. I also complimented Dakbai on his water cycle explanation. I made a connection and shared about our writing too and how much we enjoyed it too. I ask a question about his water cycle. I have proofread my comment and I fixed up all the mistakes and fixed up the spelling. I used more words than exclamation marks.

My Reflections on Term 2

This term I enjoyed doing badminton, art, environmental issues inquiry work and learning how to do a blog post. Next term I want to achieve some better learning habits with my work and ask for more help when I need it. I am concentrating on my work more instead of talking to other people. I am very happy with how I'm working.
